Summary: The current state of the domestic market of feed and feed resources calls into question its effective performance of the function of ensuring food security of the state in terms of livestock production. To date, the situation on the domestic feed market is characterized by the predominance of domestically produced feed, increased competition between domestic producers and suppliers of biological feed additives, and a low level of industrial feed production. These phenomena are exacerbated by Ukraine`s aspirations to intensify the feed production industry through the transfer of innovations and participation in international economic integration. At the same time, a significant portion of feed resources is in demand on the foreign market (meal, grain fodder, seeds of perennial grasses, etc.), although domestic exported products are not always more competitive on the global market.
