Summary: An important priority of our country`s integration into the EU is the implementation of the Sustainable Development Strategy of Ukraine until 2030, which provides for the introduction of effective and scientifically sound agricultural production methods. This will help to preserve the biodiversity of agricultural landscapes, ensure the balanced use of agroecosystems, increase their adaptive capacity to withstand changes in climate conditions (adverse weather events, droughts, floods), and improve the environmental quality of land and soil. However, without a balanced territorial organisation of the state of agricultural landscapes in the regions, it is impossible to achieve this goal. We have analysed the balance of the territorial organisation of modern agricultural landscapes in Eastern Podillia, which accounts for 4.4% of the total area of Ukraine, where the region`s share in the total agricultural production of the state is 12.3%.
